 SharePoint Developer 

3fifteen continuously seeks software development skills across all levels within the business either in order to replace turnover or due to growth.

JOB CONTEXT
• The SharePoint Developer will work in a professional and comfortable work environment where the core focus is on learning, growth, knowledge sharing, teamwork and collaboration.
• The SharePoint Developer must work in a team with other .NET and SharePoint Developers within boundaries of strict project deadlines.
• The SharePoint Developer will be exposed to all major Microsoft technologies and excellent training opportunities both internally and externally.
• The SharePoint Developer will be exposed to all major Microsoft technologies and excellent training opportunities both internally and externally.
• This exposure also occurs through the different engagement models being project-based development, placements, outsourced teams and support and enhancement engagements.
• The SharePoint Developer will either be based at the 3fifteen Head Office or at a customer site.
• The SharePoint Developer must also be willing to do business travel to customer sites as per business requirements.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
1. Customer Relations.
2. Documentation skills, i.e. the standard and quality of documents.
3. C#, .NET Framework, SQL Server and SharePoint.
4. The ability to solve problems.
5. Billable hours.
6. Microsoft Exams.
7. 360 review.
8. Communication skills, both written and verbal.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required (not-negotiable):
• Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric)
Advantageous (nice to have):
• A relevant university computer science degree or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE (These are the things the person has to KNOW to be able to do the job. 
Required (not-negotiable):
• Knowledge of C#
• Knowledge of Visual Studio .NET 2005 – 2008.
• Knowledge of ASP.NET, HTML web development.
• Knowledge of SharePoint.

EXPERIENCE (Things the person must have done and must have had exposure to, that are required for the position.) 

Required (not-negotiable):

Junior and Intermediate SharePoint Developers:

• 1 - 2 years of development experience.
• 1 - 2 years experience in SharePoint.
• 2 years experience in C#.
• 1 - 2 years experience in Visual Studio .NET 2005 – 2008.
• 1 - 2 years experience in ASP.NET, HTML web development.
• 1 - 2 years experience with Javascript.
• 1 - 2 years experience with Windows XP, Windows 2003 and Windows Vista.
Experience in relational database design and implementation with SQL Server.

Senior SharePoint Developers:

• 3 – 5 years of development experience.
• 2 year experience in SharePoint.
• 3 years experience in C#.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in Visual Studio .NET 2005 – 2008.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in ASP.NET, HTML web development.
• A minimum of 3 years experience with Javascript.
• A minimum of 3 years experience with Windows XP, Windows 2003 and Windows Vista.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in relational database design and implementation with SQL Server.
Advantageous (nice-to-have):
• Windows SharePoint Server.
• Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.
• BizTalk.
• Web Analytics.
• Microsoft CRM.
• K2.
